I've always had mixed feelings about Bush. He's not one of my favorite people, but he has had his good moments. He doesn't deserve the demonization-for-demonization's-sake he has received.
I'll never forget the wonderful reception and reverence he gave Pope Benedict. As a Catholic American, that just gave me so much pride! (A good kind of pride, I mean!)
Soon I will be working very close to the Bush Library. That should be interesting... He and Laura have visited our school many times in the past.
